A Proper Update

Well, as you might have gathered I am living in the dorms. Sorta. It's community college, so the dorms are ... interesting. I have made friends, however, unlike my mother, I would invite none of the dorm people to my wedding.

However, I have made friends on the cross-country team and in the honors program. And a few in Fashion Drawing. Just wondering but does anyone else like to keep separate groups of friends separate? I do. Mainly because the only thing those people have in common is me... which makes for very awkward conversations or lack thereof.

And really, this has been bugging me. Okay, so Apple advertises their safe powercord. It's magnetic so it pulls out easily and doesn't bring the laptop crashing to the ground if you trip over it. I believe this is touted in one of their Apple vs. PC ads. Well, this is true, though the times I have tripped over it are outwieghed by the the times I have accidentally yanked the thing out. However, there is a larger problem:
While the power cord is all safe and magnetic, there are other things I plug into the Mac. Like my Internet cable. And the printer thing... These aren't magnetic and don't come out easily.
So basically, I can feel superior to PC users until I want to print something or have to use a cable...
Yeah.

Um... not much else is going on. I'm trying to convince myself to work on Stuttering and Stupid Cupid. I'm debating over whether or not to set my NaNoWriMo in modern times (less research) or in Victorian times (running the risk of too much lovely research)... Debating whether I should put up my college-one shots... and considering writing out that Halloween thing I started in sophomore year...

Oh and I'm going to be Poison Ivy for Halloween. It's going to be sexy.
