Here you go! I gave Benedict his pair after the final performance of Frankenstein. I just put Gatiss' in the post. I wish there was some way of knowing when he gets them, but I will just have to trust the U.S. and UK mail services.

Aw thanks! But WOW, those are amazing. o__o I've done knitting before as like...an elementary school kid. That stuff takes skill. xD I just find it awesome that people knit things that they can really actually use/wear and then on the other hand, hearing about people meeting these stars (or really just, brilliant people) and being able to give them something. That's cool. =u=

You know, I'm totally going to look for these socks when watching Season 2 of Sherlock. Just cuz. o_o

A group of folks waited outside the stage door of the National after the final performance of Frankenstein. There were quite a few people waiting. We could see Benedict up on a balcony that runs the length of the theater having a beer with some other cast members, but we weren't sure he was going to actually come down to the stage door. But after about an hour, he did. The group I was with (there were six of us) was off to the side near the stage door and and I offered him the gift bag I had with my socks and some other presents that my friend and I had brought for him, including this cool Mary Shelley/Frankenstein shirt from ThinkGeek. I told him, "We come from America bearing gifts," because I'm a goober. He asked if I would hang on to them while he signed autographs and of course I said yes. Shortly thereafter he was completely mobbed and my friends and I just stood there and watched. It was actually kind of disturbing and we didn't want any part of it. I had heard that he asks for names when he gives autographs because he doesn't
