Haha, very cool!
Where's #9, though? No love for him? *sniff*

Sorry, no love for 9! I'm an old Who fan and my favorite was 5 before, and 9 just seemed out of place for me... Like some kind of Mercenary or something. I think it was just his look and the whole leather jacket thing. I'm planning on doing more versions of Amy, a couple of Rory ones and Donna. Personal tastes!

Fair enough - everyone has their own taste, of course. ;-)

For sure. And all of these guys are a labor of love, so I think it'd be disingenuous to make something out of a fandom that I didn't really like you know? Not that it isn't tempting sometimes, because I'm trying to make a living off of it, but when I get down to drawing, idk, superman or whatever, it's just like '... eh, this is boring!'

I love these, I am quite a fan of paper dolls and have made a few myself! I love how these are articulated and the rivets are part of the design, I also think your rendering skills are getting better and better!

Oh awesome! Is there anywhere I can see them? I know that the dolls have changed quite a bit from my original painting style, I just didn't want them to be too generic. It's definitely a visible advance!

Here are the dolls, they are of my favorite musician, a Japanese artist named GACKT, and are stage costumes, and costumes of characters he has played in dramas and in games. This was a style I had years previous, done in coloured pencil and watercolour.

I made a magnetic doll - that's on my fridge! and the clothes are those thin magnets to stick on without tabs, I made them using a Xyron machine.
