Thank you- let me know how it is! I'd go and see it but I seriously don't want to be ultra depressed and stuff, and when Fred died in the book my heart just brooooke. It'd be even worse these days I think, and on film.
Thank you = ) I think he's going to turn out pretty good. After I do the trio I think I might do a Snape, because he's my favorite, so he'll be a bit of a challenge I think. I actually have some oooold HP fanart laying around on my hard drive and I just might do a comparison, then and now xD For a laugh.
I was going to ask you, what are your thoughts on renting VS owning?
Renting allows you freedom of movement, for example, if my spouse got a new job, we'd have to sell the house, which might involve him living one place and us the other until it sold, because we couldn't afford two mortgages. So if you think that you'd like to move elsewhere in two years, I'd say rent.
If you know where you live is a place you'd like to stay, you might want to buy, now is a great time for buyers, you have your pick of housing, and at rock-bottom prices.
I do know that after owning a house for a decade (or my house owning me!) it would be very difficult for me to go back to rental housing, maybe I could rent a house, but going back into apartment living would be really annoying!
Hmm... All good points. I don't think that my house would own me in the way they do so many people who have 200k mortgages, the houses that I'm looking at are 30-60 grand, so really they're not that expensive. I know people who spend more on a new car than that.
I suppose kicking it around with people has just made me insist on the good sides of being a home owner, so that's probably what I really want to do. Thanks for all your advice and input, it's a great checklist for sure.

oh you mean as regards a house?
