Week 2

So you all had a little taste of what Quodpot was last week, yeah?

Well, now our American campers will get a taste to what our other campers have known all their life!

Yes, this week we're going to be playing a good game of Quidditch. You can talk amongst yourselves about what positions you'll play and agree upon them before you start playing.

For those that don't know, there are four balls in play in Quidditch, with seven players per team: one Keeper, three Chasers, two Beaters, and last but most definitely not the least, the Seeker.

There's one ball called the Quaffle [sorta like the large Quod], two Bludgers that have a complete mind of their own whose sole purpose in the game is to try to knock of players off their brooms, though are manipulated by the Beaters with their bats in order to try to help them along, but against the opposing team, and the one small golden snitch that gives the seeker and his or her team 150 points, and ends the game. A quaffle that passes through one of the three hoops counts for ten points. And, I think that's all there is to it as far as making points go?

Uh... I know that I might be going about this in a round-about way, but just bear with me.

There are hundreds of fouls that can be committed, and on record, there has been a game where all of them were made in a single game that lasted for several days.

So just practice as well as you can, and the more experienced among you can help those that aren't all too experienced, if you can. Group bonding's good and all that~

Though if you have any questions, like always, feel free to ask me!
