I. I just love this so much I...I can't? This is exactly what I've wanted since s6 tbh. Everything about this was handled so poorly in the show, which is so bizarre because if you're intent on placing SO MUCH significance on this surprise relationship then why did you do nothing with the relationship oh my god. All we got was that one short scene with the "you were so young" quote and I wanted a whole EPISODE like that! AT LEAST!! Your depiction of the family Pond is just everything I want tbh and USING her connection with the TARDIS u g h it's just perfect and I actually cried at the scene on the lake I HAVEN'T EVEN READ PART TWO YET

thank you, thank you! ugh, i've rereading it and the more i think about how poorly handled series six was, and how much i miss MY river, the river i fell in love with, the more i want to actually finish it. and i just want to read ALL THE STORIES ABOUT AMY AND RIVER AT DIFFERENT POINTS IN THEIR LIVES AND RELATIONSHIPS. gfdfjkskjfdgssf. as a writer, how do you pass up writing about that? that dynamic is so RICH. oh but wait, it's about women relating to each other outside of men. n v m.
