There is an informative chapter on Yellowstone being a huge volcano in Bill Bryson's book "A Short History of Nearly Everything". You may already know all about it, but I thought it was interesting (plus the rest of the book is good!)

Bill Bryson is hilarious! But I haven't read that one yet. I will have to get around to it. :)

Oh ugh I watched a movie from that close once, it SUCKED! (The view, not the actual movie.)

My prime gamble for Deathly Hallows is Harry but I would like to be proven brilliantly wrong (or brilliantly, tear-jerkingly right).

If Yellowstone goes, I expect it'll kill me so I hope it doesn't happen. Walter Jon Williams didn't write about Yellowstone, but he wrote about a fault line in the middle of the US breaking up in The Rift. Haven't read that yet but expect it to be awesome.

I don't know if you remember me mentioning the book by Baxter that continues The Time Machine story, but I've tried to read it and it was dead boring. So...maybe the timing was off or maybe it really sucked.

Martin rocks (bf introduced me to his books). Very excited about seeing Transformers this Thursday. Life is goooood. :)

The Rift, eh? I'll have to look for that one too.. Aw I DO remember you mentioning that book and now I'm glad I didn't pick it up. :P Damn. TOo bad!

Have you read any of Martin's other books? Are they just as infuriatingly enthralling? I'm carving through book three right now and I should DEFINITELY be doing something... y'know, useful. ;)

Never!

Dead characters stay dead unless you're watching soaps.
