JANUARY 2011
January 1st - still at Lily's for new years, was up all night talking to Corinne and Justine and Alex.
2 - woke up at Lily's, had cinnamon buns, then went home. Later that night, watched Inception at Corinne's! :D
3 - went to Tory's and hung out for a bit.
4 - hung out with Billy and Meg, we watched Disney videos, Mulan and Emperor's New Groove :D It was really nice to have a Disney movie date with them, just like we would after Willy Wonka rehearsals.
5 wednesday - went ice skating!
6 Thursday - the year book signing at Ursuline, Billy stopped by, and a bunch of us went to Panera afterward and got mac n cheese :) Then had a sleepover with Rachael.
7 Friday - went to the mall with Rachael, then FRYDAY with Pack peoples.
8 saturday I babysat for Sandra. That night, went to see Rocky with Rachael, Olivia, and other peoples. it was quite fun! :D We went to iHop afterward.
9 sunday went to mass, then hung out with Olivia. Also hung out with Scott, ended up in Southie with a bunch of drunk dudes and the cops. It was weird. XD
10 woke up, went cloth shopping with Corinne and Tory to get fabric for dalek dresses. then went to legacy place and hung out with Other Katie, we saw Black Swan, then hung out at Life teen for a bit. Went to Deadfield after dinner, and worked on the dresses. we were ridiculous, per usual, laughing at cats and mcr. continued to hang out and work on the dresses for the rest of the week.
14- Friday was Arisia! Drove to Tory's first thing in the morning, and we started sewing the dresses and spray painting the balls, and everything else. We spent the whole day working, and got to the con kind of late. We saw a Dr Who radio play, then headed back out.
15- Arisia! slept at Corinne's house the night before, so I had to drive back home and help dad move some furniture around. Then I drove back to Corinne's, picked her up, and made it to the con. i sat in on a really interesting panel on religion in science fiction and fantasy, and then Tory and Justine showed up! :D
16th sunday - back to Fordham
Monday - was a day of rest and preparation for classes.
Tuesday - classes started!!
Jan 21st- Friday - we had a girl's night. It was actually really, really kickass! We had fun! We ordered food, then talked about sex and porn and masturbation, and then went out and got ice cream and cheap wine. I henna'd people, and we played just dance. It was a really good girls only night :D
Jan 22 - went into the city with Amy, Casey, Ambrose, Celia. We went shopping in Soho and found a pop up park (a fake grass park indoors) and then had dinner at the peanut butter store. I went to RHPS that night with Ani, Kity, Ally, Jackie, Connor and a few others.
Jan 23 Sunday - work then Folk Choir, I sang the alleluia.
Jan 25 womens choir! We're singing Fever in the Spring Concert, it's very exciting (and a little inappropriate :D). aaaand then (spoilers!) later on towards the concert he cut it from our set list.
Jan 26 - auditions for Vagina Monologues, and a Wednesday so no classes. THAT'S RIGHT. NO CLASSES ON WEDNESDAY.
Jan 27- auditions for TOPs crucible, snow day so no classes.
Jan 28 - Friday! And then went on the Freshvision retreat. I had seen a sign for it in the dorm earlier in the week, and something just made me sign up for it. It was an absolutely wonderful weekend of relaxation and self-analysis. I think the best thing Freshvision did for me was it was a break right in the start of second semester, so on some levels I think it really stopped me from falling back into some of the same bad patterns that I got into first semester. I was already starting to feel overwhelmed, and I'd barely been back at school. The retreat took me away from all that for a weekend, right as I started to fall back into things at Fordham, was a wake up call to pay attention to me, to slow down and stop trying to do everything all at once.
January 31st - Monday, so back to normal life.
