I am on the 20th floor of my dorm. --Slightly different experience here than at Duke, I must say. They don't do that uber-protective thing, although they are apparently exponentially stricter this year than before. So it goes ( Read more... )

Death is always a fun topic. So... What is "LD"? ...is it ? I suppose that would be pretty easy to see. Glad to see your new friends are amusing you...

Lincoln-Douglas debate. one on one debate fashioned after the debates Lincoln and Douglas had before the senate(?) elections. They were fun to watch. So at a debate tournament it's the only real one on one debate. two on two is called policy. LD is more about morality. it is held with fairly high regard in some places (like Mississippi, where I did it, and qualified for CFL nationals in 2000), but looked down apon as speculation in others (Missouri). helpful at all?
