Custom Fight Stick Part 1

Apr 11, 2009 19:02

My friend Ernie is making his own fight stick for the 360, and offered to make one for me as well. HOW AWESOME IS THAT?

I managed to find a wired controller off Amazon at a great price. There are a lot of different panel layouts to choose from, depending on the game, and feel. I finally decided on the Astro City / Blast City layout. :D

Does this mean you're learning to mod a 360 controller to not have a shitty D-Pad?
Amazing...

Also, we gotta S-Rank RE5.

I'm not the one doing it. This guy is. But yes that is the entire reasoning. :D

Looks sexy! Sorry I couldn't respond sooner; this is my first time on the computer since receiving your message on 360 last week. Glad it turned out well... and so quickly, too! I also love the picture of the infamous Super Advantage. ^_^ Now it has some very-welcomed company.

I'm jealous of your eight-button layout, haha. That's the only real downside to the Hori stick I have. They put six buttons on there, in the same standard Sega/Arcade type layout. But then they put the LB/RB as tiny little buttons on top, next to the Start and Select buttons. So for games that use more than six buttons, I'm outta luck. Doesn't come up too often, but still.
