So, JC Superstar was pretty awesome. Ted Neeley was, as I suspected, CLEARLY too old to be Jesus. Like, ridiculously. But it was still awesome. Judas and Mary had amazing voices. Pilate was pretty good too. Caiaphas sounded just like the guy in the movie, lolz ( Read more... )

Right in the beginning, the future wavers. Long before Edward has realized what Bella will be to him, there is another possibility. Another arm slung over her shoulders.

A different happy couple.

There is a part of you that hopes for that future, though you'd never admit to it. YOu're nearly as intrigued with the girl as your brother is going to be, and for that, you are deeply, deeply ashamed of yourself.

There is, after all, Jasper to think about.

So instead of acting and pressing the advantage to make her yours, you choose to be friends. Close friends. Choice is what life is all about, or should be, anyway.

And if sometimes you hold her too close or spoil her too much, well, Edward can stand a healthy dose of rivalry to appreciate what he has.
