Fic prompt I came across today: Sherlock is summoned to America to consult on the case of the serial criminals Sam and Dean Winchester

I'm glad you quit! That sucks about the lack of having money, but a job that causes that much unhappiness is not worth it! (Like I should talk, since I returned to a job I strongly detest...)
I've worked at lots of jobs I didn't like, and I'm usually pretty good about sticking it out until I find something else, but my manager just had a crazy skill when it came to hitting all the buttons that made me want out.
... I'll read that THREE TIMES if you manage to write it. <3 In a row. <3
I'm uber proud of you for actually talking to your manager about what the problems were. That takes a lot of guts, but it's the only way they'll ever learn! You dun good. :)
... The new word game at Dictionary.come is pretty much the best thing ever. Except for you. Because you have rocked. Yes.
Isn't it awesome? I want someone else to write it, though. I'm terrible when it comes to crossovers, and I have no real concept of "Brit-picking" as they seem to call it.
It did take guts and it pisses me off that I don't think it did any good. I'm hoping the DSM (who hired me) comes down to try to talk me out of it so I can be good and honest with her, too.
He smirks at you and shakes his head slightly, "I'm sure I've told you this little secret already, John, and I hate repeating myself, but here it is again: once you eliminate the impossible, whatever remains, no matter how improbable, must be the truth."
I hope you find a new job quickly, one with a better boss. I also hope that the reasons for you leaving go to your boss's boss so things get better for the other people working there too.
Actually, would it be better for you to get her job? ;)
Actually, I second this. Well, maybe not her job, but I'm really hoping the DSM talks to you, realizes how fantastic you are, and offers you some other crappy employee's great job that is way better all around. ... I'm not sure, from the sounds of it, that there are any actual jobs of this sort at Marks, but I'm inclined to hope.
