So I'm constantly whining how my friends keep fleeing away. Cosmically, one of my closest friends I've met in Edmonton, Lonnie (he was the drummer in my band Dirty Orchid), calls me tonight all elated; telling me he's moving back here from Grande Prairie next month!

A new band is in order. As is a new electric drum kit..

I've not posted in months. I work 60-70 hours a week. A lot of that time is spent in these dinky hick towns (grande prairie, slave lake, dawson creek, fort st john, whitecourt, basically all over northern Alberta and some of BC). Its excellent money. Does nobody do the LJ thing anymore? I see very little posts in my friends section these days! Seems everybody is off in MySpace land now. I feel like I did when everyone suddenly went from ICQ to MSN.

This Oilers buzz in Edmonton is amazing. I cant believe how far they've come. So cool to see this city so alive! Been watching every game and partying, or getting text messages for game scores from my boy when im working. I cant believe how well those guys are playing!
