Also... working retail sucks. I just quit Radio Shack not long ago. My manager was a complete asshole because I wouldn't sleep with him I guess. Whatever. Don't let it get to you. You, John, you are not the average asshole. You are such an amazing creative mind, so talented, smart... I guess what I'm trying to say is, you have more to offer than they even comprehend. The beauty of you, is that you are not the kind of person that they think you should be. It doesn't take anything special to be just like everyone else, but to be your own person, to break apart from the mold, to crush society's norms just by thinking and expressing yourself, that's what I think is truly valuable. Even if you don't see that, I think it's true. You should be really happy that you don't fit into some stereotypical box. That's why I like you.
