it's my birthday. yeah. november 9th, 2004 marks the end of my teenage years. i'm 20 years old. that's depressing to me. don't worry, though. i've drowned my depression in a bottle of sauvignon blanc. whatever.

I haven't exactly been a friend to you ryan. I haven't really been a friend to anyone lately. I just wanted to say I'm sorry and happy birthday and merry x-mas and happy new year and all. I hope your shows have been going well and people have been treating you nice. I've kinda peetered off the whole blog thing, when I feel random or exasperated I still write or draw. I don't really play my guitar to relieve tension I normally play when I'm happy and feeling inspired. I can spend quite a many hours typing and reading other peoples lives and the mere thought of that is rather depressing to me, so I don't. Save a few times like today, when I should be working on homework.

I don't know what the deal is. In high school I was so social. I lived for friendship. But now, I like to live my life and I don't really talk to too many people. Anyway, I do care about what's goin' on in your life and want good things for you. So work hard Ryan, I will try to come to your next show, so I can see your smiling face.
