It's time to kickstart my progress. Lately San Francisco has been hard for me. It has been over 2 years since I have experienced a real summer and I am a child of the heat so the cold has been getting me down. I have felt it has been seriously impeding my progress. So as I read your journal, I'm thinking, "this gal would appreciate meeting Starhawk." Starhawk is a San Fran based author of books like the "The Fifth Sacred Thing." I just read it before Christmas and as a guy that has lived between LA and SF on the coast, I recognized the places she wrote about. She wrote the book in 2048, ya it's a future history, and I think you'd be interested in the eco- and sexual-ecology of her story. Anyways, I'd recommend it!
