This week has been pretty weird I guess I can blame it on the rain.
Tuesday I got into 2 public arguements. I had my car towed in San Francisco, and had to pay $245.75 to get it out. It started out ok, I went to the gym. Then went to take pictures of a female rap artist I took pictures of before. In the rain yes, I thought it would be a cool concept. All of that went fine. But I decided for once, for the first time to be nice and put money on Falcon's books. I got to the jail 850 of course, and the window to put the money on his books had just closed right then. Which means I have to wait until 3:15 for the window to open, and it was 2:00. I thought about going home, but I was like no, I found parking I'll go get a sandwich. It's like one of those things I kept thinking would not be difficult to do. But of course then, it's not raining, then it's pouring, and I get back to the window and there is a line and a crowd of people in a little hallway including 2 some what out of control little girls. Luckily, I got to the line at 3:00 so I wasn't far in the line, but people just kept coming and squishing up in this little hallway. Wet, and irritable people. They seem to make the best of it though and made jokes about the jail, pretty typical. So I finally put a little money for his phone cards and whatever, and leave to my car. Oh, were is my car? It was towed. There was a sign with small print saying cars will be towed from 3-6pm on that block. I looked for signs, but I didn't see that one because it was way behind were I parked. So luckily, I was already by the main jail I knew the impound had to be close, and it was just one block of pouring rain to get to. I was so smart for leaving my umbrella in the car ha ha ha!I get to the impound lot and had to wait until my mom came and dropped off money which I will have to just give her my state return for. I just paid everything off though so it was really frustrating. But I figured a way around it and thought one way or another, I'm going to save some money for new equipment. I have photography jobs coming up, and a small 3 day job to cover odd days of the month I'm not working. But oh yeah, I found out about that job while I was sitting at the impound lot waiting. It did make me feel better. Soooo, when I get into the office to pay my car out of there (by the way for those of you who might visit San Francisco one day. Always believe that there is not parking in the street that won't cause you to have a ticket or get your car impounded. And if it gets impounded make sure to get it out that day, it's about $600 a night I've heard) I got in there and was all confused about the number ticket thing. I pushed the button and didn't see the ticket. The lady behind me pulled it out for me and gave it to me. I said thank you without really looking and rushed to the counter. Then this crazy little young white female came in with a guy her age, and started yelling she was next. And she started arguing with the woman behind me, which disturbed the attendant, which made her not just take my money and give me my car back. So I turned around and yelled "Hold on now slow down, what is your problem" and the crazy little white girls starts yelling that its her turn and either the woman next to me give up her ticket or I need to come back her behind her and give her my ticket because she's second in line. Hold on now, she came in third, how did she come to this conclusion. At that moment me and the woman next to me both looked at this woman like "What!" We both said I don't think so! So the attendant yelled out "No! Your third, she's first and she's second. I'll help you now" and I was like wow, cuz then this crazy little white girl started yelling out "It's not fair! It's not fair! I'm the victim here! I had to walk 5 blocks in the rain!!!!" and the guy she was with started telling her to stop she was not right for acting like that. The poor guy was so embarrassed and he said "All these people are here for the same thing they are no different from you" "I don't care!! Fuck them!" I notice she didn't say bitches because me and the other woman probably would have stomped on her. All I know it, I feel sorry for the people who work there, the crazy people they have to deal with and the attendent still kept a nice attitude. Of course! Yes I was paying her company $175 for stealing my car and parking it in their gated lot, and $70 to the city for a ticket for them having to impound my car. Got to love San Francisco.Oh, but that wasn't all! I finally got my car and could not get out of the city fast enough I was pretty fed up. I went and picked up the girls, and then went back up to Daly City to cash my check. I thought since I cashed a check at one of the BofA's maybe I can cash my check up here for less money than the check cashing place. But....Bank of America wow you amazed me even further that I could ever imagine!!!! I was told I had to get my check verified and to write my name down on a white paper. I went over to look at this white sign in sheet when a lady came right up and said "I'll help you" and took my check and ID. I was like ooookkkk but I don't like the looks of this. I started to think of an escape plan of just grabbing my check and ID of her desk and leaving. She kept on insisting I should just open a checking account, why don't I open a checking account, have you had one before? I kept telling her I didn't want one. She kept on insisting. I slipped up and said I did have an account here before saying I didn't like the fees they kept slipping in. She said oh really, and started silently looking up my past information while trying to distract me with still insisting I should have a bank account. I said look, this is all the money I have for the week and I need it for my kids I'm a single mom of twins. Then I looked at here and said "Are you looking up my past information and calling in about it?" She was calling to check if I owed money but kept saying she was just verifying the check. I said look, just give me my check back, and at that point a manager came up and gave me my check. If told me "We can't cash your check if you owe us money, you better take your check and cash it some where else you need that money" so I couldn't get out of the bank fast enough. Bank of America tried to hold my check hostage, that's how it felt. It was either open a checking account, or pay us what you owe then open a checking accounting you have no choice we have your check in our hands now ha ha ha. But the manager saying that was like he had to rescue my check from the clutches of his sales minion. Go, hurry, before they catch you!!! You need this money for those kids!!!! Oh my gosh! LOLSo, a little more irritated, but I'll just breath ok. And go to the check cashing place across the street. OK, Mind that it's raining all day and I'm still just talking about Tuesday here. That was not the last of it. My day continued on to be a struggle and fight. Of course, at the check cashing place. I wait in yet another line. And this guy cuts the guy in front of me. I wasn't sure why, sometimes people hold places, they guy didn't say anything about it but he did look upset. And the dude who cuts in line keeps looking in my direction or just seemed like he was trying to be annoying and catch my attention. Ok, just breath and ignore him I just am not trying to get into an argument. So I get called to the attendant to cash my check. And that annoying guy was standing in my way, he starts playing with his paper work and calling his mom. Yeah, he looked to be in his 20's I can't tell, I think the girl who was yelling she's a victim earlier was in her early 20's maybe. Anyways, I have my check I have to right my information and sign it and give my ID to the attendant. But there's this one little problem. This guy was so close to me he was touching my arm with his, almost leaned on it. Hmmm.....that's not quite right. Can you imagine pretty much going to cash your check at a bank or some where and someone just standing so close to you hovering over you while your at the counter. It doesn't make sense. The attendant kept asking him to move to the side, and he wouldn't move. He started arguing with her, he's doing this or that and doesn't need to move. I was like "Seriously man, just give me some room you are in my personal space do you need to be that damn close to me while I'm trying to cash my check?" He's yelling at me, I'm yelling at him. He's on the phone with his mom saying "these people are stupid man" I yelled out "Your the one acting stupid here." he's yelling at me some more like he's not doing anything wrong he said "I'm just trying to get my money" I said "I am too that's why I need you to move" Then he's talking about "I'm not doing nothing here I'm not bothering nobody" I said "I just don't understand then why you can't just write some were else. Look! There's a bench. Or over there, all that room! There's this whole area of space you can move to why don't you just do it and get out of my way"Yes so after yelling at him, which actually shut him up and had him in the corner of the room talking to his mommy a lit quieter, I was ready to take my money and get out of there with a quickness.Yes, that was just Tuesday. Well, I better get back to fixing pictures.
