I survived week one of teaching. The school is a whole lots different from what I imagined in some ways good and in some ways bad. I called up one of my Baylor professors on Thurs. for some advice since the school isn't run the way I learned in Baylor. I think if I had to make my decision today I wouldn't return to the school, but we'll see. ( Read more... )

Well, since Aug. 3rd I have been to orientations, staff developments, and organizing my classroom. I hope I can finish getting my room ready tomorrow. The kids start on Monday, but I won't have any kids until the second week of school since I'm resource. However, I don't want to just put the pets in the pound for some random person to adopt, so I'm wondering if anyone here is interested in any of them.
