My fall break was just what I needed: a nice break from school work, getting plenty of sleep, and a chance to spend five fabulous days with the one whose company I treasure the most. the perks of being a wallflower is an incredible book. it will never be a classic of our time, but i love the way the main character finds beauty in a life that, by many societal standards, is rather bleak and strange. it helps us to remember, i think, how fleeting life is - and how beautiful it is when we let it be.
