It's humbling to think about how fast things can change. In a manner of minutes the lives of many in Waco and beyond were changed forever. Kyle Lake died. Electrocuted in the baptismal pool. I feel so bad for his wife and three young kids. Its hard being so far away when something like this happens

Did your family know Rev. Kyle? or did you meet him through Erin?

Regardless, I am so sorry.

I read this entry and a few articles on his death and, like you, I would love answers. Somehow I always remember Donnie Darko...his death, while a tragedy, serves a definite purpose. It may be revealed to you (us) someday, or God may choose to keep the purpose a secret. Regardless, we put our faith in Him, and we rest assured knowing our deceased friends and loved ones are celebrating with Him in Heaven.

I never actually met him in person, but I read his book and saw him and his kids the few times I went to Erin's church in Waco. His first book was really incredible, and they just released his second one.
