My mom rediscovered an old violin from my granny on our attic today and gave it to me. It just has two intact strings, the sound post seems to be loose, it has some scratches (but just on the lacquer) and the bow looks already very tousled.
I think the best is to bring it to a violin-maker to see how much it would cost to make it playable again.

I'll bring it to a violin-maker first and see what he's saying to its constitution and if it's worth to make it playable again. I'm thinking I could make my sis playing it^^, offer it for rent or even sell it then and put the money into my cello-fond (but it's the violin of my granny, so...) or yeah, why not? try it myself :)
