While I was in Denver, I spent most of my time reading or surfing the Internet via a laptop (including doing research on Greek mythology for my novel-in-progress). Speaking of mythology, I finally saw that Percy Jackson, and I have to wonder how Athena, a virgin goddess who does not procreate, has a daughter, demigoddess or not. Hopefully this ( Read more... )

Reading good! Greek mythology good!

I heard Howl's Moving Castle was very different from the anime!

Percy Jackson probably just got it wrong without apology. Heh.

HMC is indeed very different from the anime film. But the author herself stated that she expected as much. :)

Yeah, I read that on Wikipedia. If Miyazaki wanted to make my book into an anime, I'd sure stand back and let him do whatever he wanted, knowing it would be brilliant, no matter what!

No. I just noticed you on wtf_nature, found this post, and decided to comment. (: I really like Greek mythology, so I couldn't help myself.
