That doesn't sound dumb at all. A castle is a very, very large building. It usually has lots of different buildings around it and great tall walls to keep everyone inside safe. Where I'm from, castles were places where royalty and nobility lived.

Do they have anything like that where you're from?

It's September now, and I arrived in early April...

Five and a half months? More or less? No one's sure of how long we'll be here, unfortunately. As long as it takes until our worlds are restored, I suppose.

[Bryn isn't entirely sure how she feels about it either. She loves living at the Keep, because things are safer for her in general, but when it is dangerous, it's a great deal more than back home, and there simply isn't anywhere to run away to most of the time.]

It's pretty cool most of the time.

[Lily's just a little girl, so Bryn doesn't feel the need to warn her about not hurting people but...]
