I make no secret of my love for Heavy Noise (tm). And quite probably highest in my list of adoration sits Strapping Young Lad.

A good chunk of that love is directed at the frontman, one Devin Townsend, who apparently was born the day after me, only seven years earlier. Go Team May! But I digress. Tangentially I wander. A man - a Canadian Man - Devy

it may just happen that i too have a copy of this album, only to assist me with my desire to purchase it also. of course. i dont mind giving bands i like my money, but i do like being able to try before i buy as it were. given my limited income, being able to download mp3s is a godsend. ive found so much music that i plan on buying thanks to the joys of mp3s.

also... this album is fantastic. i think i like it more than both alien and strapping young lad.. id say its second to city.

making me want to watch for those aboot to rock again... mmmm

im not a big fan of his work with SYL. I prefer some of his "solo" but not solo projects. My fave thing is without a doubt, not even a shadow of doubt, Ocean Machine.. which remains one of my top 10 favorite albums ever :D

Same with mp3's for me. sometimes when i think about buying a house and stuff, i wish i had not found mp3 places on the net.. cos they have lead me to spend soooo much money. but damnit. then i realise how AWESOME! some of the music is and its all ok again :)
