[Whelp.
That thing happened. You know, the thing I told you about OOC-ly. The whole murdering-his-other-self thing. It was pretty brutal - but now Emmet is happy.
Really, really happy. In fact, he's so happy, he's in a good mood for once! A really really good mood.

Emmet! [Dave appears on the screen, grinning broadly, before realizing that is totally not a cool way to greet someone you admire. He reels it in a bit, trying to err more towards smooth stoicism but pretty much failing anyway.] Um... hey! I mean... Hi! I knew you were totally here and everything, the Doc said he talked to you and everything, but um... heh. [He rubs the back of his neck self-consciously.] Anyway, I'm a huge fan; you and Ingo are like... I hear about you guys all the time!

[Whew, embarrassing. Dave fights the urge to smack himself in the face. I'm a huge fan? Really?] But, uh... wow, I totally agree with you about going home, man. I'm glad they let you be the Subway Boss here, too. [Yes, don't think about it too much, Dave.] Can you, like... find out who did this? I mean -- why this happened? [Right, because, as multiple people have tried to convince him, there's probably no 'who' behind this. He's not convinced, but maybe Emmet feels the same way.] I need my team back, you know?

Would he mind what he's done, for the purpose of justice? As long as he doesn't question it, Emmet won't bring it up. Much.] What is your name? I want to know.

Yeah, man! You and your trains are pretty legendary, you know? [This is ~so cool~, like meeting Palmer or something! And why wouldn't the higher-ups here in Unova let Emmet take his place as Subway Boss again? He doesn't even really consider that the position might already have been filled... Although if he stops to think about it too much... Dave can't help but grin again when Emmet asks his name.] My name's Dave! I'm from Sinnoh.

That is awesome that you're on the case, man. It's been kind of hard trying to get info, plus most of the other outsiders don't even think there's somebody behind this! [He smiles; finally, someone else who thinks there's an evil mastermind!] Can I do anything to help out?

I missed them. [Matter-of-factly. Right now, those trains are his life.] They are the best. Dave? Nice to meet you! You are from Sinnoh? One day, I want to go there. [Maybe in a few hundred years. When the world evolves away from having subways.] Or maybe to the Battle Frontier. It would be interesting!
They don't? That is... stupid. Yup, stupid. There must be somebody. There must be. [To show justice to.] Hmm... well. I will be unable to leave the subways. I must work, you know? So, could you battle the gyms for me? And for yourself. I suspect the gym leaders know what is going on, too. Ask them, for me. [This is perfect!!]

[Ohh, this is an interesting sight on the feed! Nepeta doesn't think much of it, really, because she doesn't have any questions but then she catches his teeth in that smile-or, more importantly, that little speck of blood on them.]

Heeheehee! Looks like somebody didn't clean up after their last hunt! [She grins as she says it, baring her own teeth. Fortunately for him, the girl doesn't seem terribly suspicious. This just looks like a hunt to her, and it's not like she doesn't partake in killing beasts regularly!]

[Emmet then turned to slightly off-camera - asking his Rotom what she's on about. Of course, talking in hushed tones. He then, you know, wiped the blood off.

A few moments later, he looked to her, his silly expression... sort-of gone. He still looks silly and giddy. But less so.]

A... subway boss? Of a high rank? Did that mean what Hal thought it did?

He raised his hand, just in case it was the right thing to do. "Can I take the subway home so I can visit my mom and my brother?" He was really beginning to miss them.
