I think Otto sees him as frivolous, just a pretty airhead. At the same time, Maraich's given him some good advice on occasion. He appreciates Maraich's ability to trade insults and witty banter. Otto might seem like he dislikes Maraich, and he boy does get on his nerves at times, but he's actually ambivalent towards him.
Otto HATES Axel. HAAAATE. He thinks he's the biggest dick he's ever met (with the exception of Harry Osborn, who he still hates out of principal). But the key thing here is, he LOVES to hate Axel. He'll spit epithets at him with a smile on his face. If they ever met in person, they'd probably end up brawling.
Samus is very intruiging to Otto. (And not necessarily 'in that way' even if she's kinda cute). The fact that she's in possession of such advanced technology, her being raised by an alien race, living on a spaceship... Of course he's gonna be fascinated by it all. He doesn't know that she's a bounty hunter, but has gathered that she's in some kind of law enforcement. It makes him a little nervous, but after the aliens she's told him about, he figures he doesn't need to worry about her. He finds her good conversation, even if she's painfully naive. On the whole he likes Samus, but at this point he likes her more for her stuff than for her.
I don't think they've ever really interacted! XD But Otto's read his posts, and wouldn't want to interact with him. He's absolutely floored that anyone could NOT see Stan for what he is. A dangerous maniac. (Which, interestingly enough, is what the public at large thinks of Otto.) Of course, as long as Stan stays in his own world, Otto doesn't really care what he does. He'd just rather not talk to him. Or look at him. Or be within a 1-mile radius of him. ^_^;
...Okay. XD Um, Otto quite likes Cid. Otto's kind of automatically positive towards anyone who's involved in science. But more importantly, he can relate to Cid. As much as Cid is at a loss when he talks to Otto, Otto feels the same. It's not just that their fields of study are different; it's that the fundamental elements and natural laws of their worlds are different. The magic, Nethicite, all of that stuff, it's hard for Otto to wrap his head around. But at least he's talking to someone who can explain it. So yeah, he considers him a friend or at least a colleague.
