The lab was abuzz with activity... even if Otto was the only one in there. Each of his tentacles were occupied with different tasks; one was monitoring lines of code, checking for and repairing errors, two were in the process of assembling legs, and one was adding yet another CPU to the room's growing computer cluster. Otto himself was busy

Jordan and Eva had finally returned from their shopping trip, arms laden with all kinds of bags bearing the names of various boutiques. Jordan threw her armload onto the couch and hurried downstairs to the basement, a small paper bag clutched in one hand.

"We're back!" Jordan said. She was dressed in a pleated skirt and white blouse. She held the bag above her head. "I've got the stuff you asked for!"

The arm closest to Jordan coiled back and snatched the bag from her hand. Otto looked up from his work and blinked at her. He couldn't help but smile a little at how thoroughly "she" was enjoying being a girl.

"Heh, thanks."

The tentacle brought the bag to him and he began to place the contents on the workbench.

"Have fun?"

Jordan was a little startled when the arm snatched the bag from her, but quickly grinned at Otto.

"Yup! I've finally got some proper undergarments. No more Ace Bandage binding for me!" She put her hands on her hips, chest puffed out in pride.

Eva paused in the doorway and sighed. "Of all the things to walk into a room to... it had to be that." He laughed, and walked into the room, moving slowly so as to not startle the arms. (That first day... having that happen once was enough.)

"So, what is it that we're going to be doing now, doctor?"
