Turns out it's not just silt that's been causing the arms' crappy performance of late. I need a vane rotary actuator, among other parts. These are not readily available to me.

I'll be gone for a while. Not more than a couple days if I'm lucky.

The main reason anyone throws out their television is that their CRT burnt out. Luckily, these are easy to replace, if you know what you're doing and are careful. (High lead content.) So I have a TV now. And an electron gun, a crucial component of a mass spectrometer, if I ever need one. Score.
