Right now my daughter is angry with me, she said that she is hurt. But she is not calling me, etc. So to me that mean angry. You may ask why is she angry. Because I will be at the beach When the baby turns 1 and she is having a big party for the baby. I was over there earlier. Gay and her were going to go meet w/ someone about child care around 1pm'ish.

"she tried to play the guilt trip on me with "she is your only grandchild"." ~And what is Alison? I realize that she is not my DNA, but Alison is basically my daughter and basically your granddaughter. Besides, what is the hella big deal? You were not there for Ali's first either.

I did mention the bit about Ali's first to sis...um, yeah it didn't help any. Also, it didn't help when I reminded sis that I missed Ali's 2'nd B-day to be at St. Joes for Kirsten's birth. I think she might be a tad selfish here.

Well, thanks for trying. You are correct on what you have said, I just hope that your sister will come around. I am not canceling the trip, (that would cost me the money anyway. I told them I didn't want the trip cancelation insurance for the extra $$). I am going to try to talk to her again today. I understand if she is hurt, but what about how I feel? Guess that does not matter. I don't know, but I do feel that I have to try to talk to her, before this gets worse.

Sorry Mommy, but seriously, WTF? It's a whole lot easier to plan a birthday party around a vaction than vice versa.
I can't believe that she pulled the "only gradnchild" line out. What is Ali? A pound of meat?

I think that she is just upset, they have had a bad week. You know one of everything including their fence blowing down so they have to take Bruno out on a leash to go potty. I did talk to her last night and I think we are ok, now. And yes, Ali is my serigate(sp?) grandchild and I love her very much.
