[It seems as though Hammerspace has had some mercy on its inhabitants this time- It didn't allow America back on the Fourth of July. The day after however...

The halls are all strewn with red, white and blue streamers and balloons and American flags. Some are jostled and twisted or hanging in a strange way, like they've already weathered a big party

[ ...this looks like something Hookeracy feels like he should be happy he missed. He takes a sip of his tea as he looks down at the sleeping American, using his free hand to tip the hat back and show Alfred's face.

Then he pours the iced tea on said face to wake him up. ]

[And America bolts upright at once, spluttering and trying to whack away whatever is doing this with his flailing arms.]

Aaaah- Commie! Who let a Commie into my-

[And then, he finally sees who it is.]

...Oh. Jeez, Aaron...

[And he slumps back onto the couch with a sigh.]

[ Hookeracy quickly steps back away as America starts flailing, laughing at his spluttering. ]

I take it you had a good birthday.

[Just. Pouting. And rubbing his arms to try to stave off the cold of the tea.]

I did until somebody woke me up.

[ Seeing such decorations everywhere and a cake he can only assume is what his flag would look like in the future, Union guesses this is the aftermath of a party for either his older self's birthday, Independence Day, or both.

Picking up a fork, he takes a bite of the cake, looking at his sleeping company curiously. ]

[America snores lightly, unaware of his company. He's sound asleep and even drooling just a bit. All the grace of a cat...who's had too much catnip and exhausted themselves.]

[ Grace indeed. Still, Union is just going to wait until he finishes what remains of this cake, before walking over and shaking America's shoulder to wake him. ]

[America seems to stir- He twitches, sleepily murmurs something... But his eyes stay closed and his snores don't stop.]

[She had been so excited to not see him.]

[But Roslyn, look at him. Isn't he cute when he snores like a hyena with a cold?]

Wake up and stop drooling on the couch.
