My dreams frequently incorporate people I know with different faces. I'll call the person "Mike" and I know it's the same "Mike" I work with, but he looks like a stranger. Anybody know what that means?

About dreams eerily like slow days at work: I don't think this is about the fictitious brain-contorsionist feat of "superego" "controlling" "unconscious" "id", because what would that even mean? It's not like these are parts of the brain; they're names convenient for describing different things our minds do. Ahem. The question is why you would want to do a Freudian reading of UD, anyway.
