MOUNTAIN DAY WAS COOL.
It all started off yesterday. I stayed late, because I thought that I'd have a TG meeting, but it ended up getting cancelled. So I stayed and played pool with the guys. Ian and Ryan. You guys suck. I'm not saying I'm much better, but....REALLY. XD Justine and I played after they did. But it was fun playing around and such. We ate with them beofore that, which was cool too. Ryan scared the shit outta me by making a face at me from really far away. I was looking for our table, when in a sea of faces, I see one staring back at me, crazed-looking. Needless to say, Ryan, You're going to be getting a treat in video production, I can tell you that. But ending a day with pool and running in the rain is loads of fun. I eventually went home, and I had just started to procrastinate, when I got a call from Ms. Vezina. She'd called to tell me that today would be Mtn. Day. (It's supposed to be a big surprise, but everyone figures it out from absentminded teachers...Mr Ahn was my information source) So that ended my night's "working." I ended up getting to sleep a bit later than usual, but I got to wake up at 7, instead of my usual 5:30/5:45.
And then came...
Today, I got to school at around 8:30. When I was eating breakfast with everyone Paz sat, working on my laptop. The crazy pop-up lady talked to her, which reminded me to run spybot the next time I got a chance. Then I put the laptop away, and I went to the buses to get shipped over to Monadnock. SO FUNNY. The frosh got the Cushing School Buses, (like our "old" buses, but painted white, with purple writing on the sides, with the school emblem, crest, etc...) 1 big normal sized one, and 3 short buses. The sopohmores and the upperclassmen got COACH BUSES. I laughed. I sat with Andrea and Dan Kuchta, and laughed. XD Ian shook a fist at me. So I rode the 45 minutes up there, grabbed my assigned provisions (A water bottle, M&M's and an apple) and I ran into the park. I'd love to say that I ran up the mountain, got in the yearbook picture at the summit, and ran back down, but I'd be stealing Ian and Doug's story. I sat at the bottom and ran around down there. *pffuh* I don't care. I got some time with Pothoff that I wouldn't have gained otherwise. Kara was being a royal pain in the ass, but it was OK, coz Iris was there to assuage the immaturity with her specific version of immaturity, which felt like something more in my age group. Though she's a frosh too. No matter, she makes me happy. Eventually, we had lunch. Yeah, so our lunches are done by Cushing's own food services, which meant that the food was amazing. Ian eventually came back down the mountain after lunch, along with Devon, Doug and some other people...but Ian was with our group. Vera was on the side of our little group, obsessing over my collection of techno, especially all the german techno and electronica. But we all sat jumbled together, like a massive session of the "haha" game. If people haven't played the "haha" game, you've had a deprived childhood. I had my head on Ian's chest so I could listen to his iPod. He introduced me to a lot of good new music, which rocks. But we all ended up just talking and chilling and watching Natasha and Dan (Pothoff) flirt massively. I missed my Aaron when that happened. Then we went back, and I left my art class early to go bedding-shopping. (yeah...fu-uhn) My bed is coming this saturday, and I needed stuff to put on it.... Yeah. That was my day.
And now I have to go and do all of the work that I ignored previously. (damn...) OOooOoo! Wait. I don't have precalc tomorrow! I'm not doing that HW then! Yessssss! But I still have a good amount of HW....
I'm going to need some good strong coffee.
I'm also going to need a really big cup...
I love you. I miss you lots.
