Does anyone know how the weekend crowds will in early November? My husband and I are FINALLY going on our honeymoon, and we decided to go on a cruise and then go to Universal for a few days. I've never been to Florida around this time of year, how is the weather? Is it still stifling hot (as it can be in October) or is it cooler?

Early November is one of the best times to go all year, if I remember right. My birthday is in November, so I've made lots of birthday trips to Universal/Islands over the years. That's regarding crowds though. Usually the locals have spent all their money for Universal in October going to Halloween Horror Nights, and tourists aren't all that active in early November.

Temperature wise though, each year is a little different. Lately, it's stayed rather warm in November (global warming?). It might not be as sweltering as October, but it's really iffy depending on the year. In 2006, we went in November and were able to wear jeans and still be comfortable. November and December 2007 stayed sweltering - I remember being at Universal on December 23rd just absolutely sweating to death because it was still in the 80s and I'd chosen to wear jeans because it was supposed to be CHRISTMAS. So yeah - Florida is rather unpredictable. Odds are it'll be in the 70s or 80s in November.

There is absolutely no way of telling what the weather will be like, though the crowds shouldn't be too much of a problem for you.
Last time I was down there around November, one day it was 80's but other days cold, and I actually had to buy GLOVES while I was down there because it was dipping quite low in the evenings.
Good luck!
