I have a question about the crowd levels around Halloween: We just booked a cruise that leaves the first of November and have our season passes from last year. We want to use them again before they expire, but unfortunately the only time we can go to Universal is the 29th-31st of October. Does anyone know anything about the crowd levels? Is it ( Read more... )

Oh! Good question, I hadn't even thought about the possibility of crowds at USF/IoA, even though I've been checking the Disney crowd calendars!
I did a bit of Googling & came across this DISboard discussion. Maybe it'll help you out? I am a dolt (& was in a hurry) & didn't notice until just now that the link is to something to do with Disneyland. :-/
Sorry 'bout that.

If you want to do Halloween Horror nights, those will be the most crowded days of course due to the date. As for during the day, there shouldnt be big crowds at all, (I worked there this past halloween and it was so dead they sent me home.)

Yeah, we aren't interested in going to the Horror Nights, just to the parks during the daytime.

Keep in mind if it is a HHN night, then Universal will be closing at 5. So it would suck, but standard close is at 6 so you arent losing that much time really. And HHN does not really effect crowd levels during the day, the fact that it is weekend (I think) might, but the HHN crowd tends to just come for HHN. If that makes sense.

Lines aren't bad at all...
They get more crowded towards the evening with people showing up for the Horror Nights (which I decided to try out...pretty much so not at all worth it) but day time was pretty clear.
