Two thoughts for today that I'm chewing on... It's nice because kids grow up both very slowly and way too fast at the same time. You have time to adjust to their needs as they get to them. You will be ready for it when he is.

I love reading what you write. And it is all true what you say. Daniel and Jo are now grown and on their own. I miss them so much it hurts sometimes. And at the same time I am so incredibly proud of them. It is a feeling I cannot seem to describe. You will be separated..... Bit still attached. Like a part of you is soaring as a part of you watches. You are elated and afraid and proud and amazed all at once. And it does not seem to dissipate. Enjoy the slow uphill journey to that point.
