that may be nice advice. but did you ever think maybe it isnt his choice to be gay? and think about a high school: one person knows, everyone knows. as soon as a person talks to him, they know, he cant hide it. he gets talked about behind his back about it and it isnt even a physical or mental condition.
Yes, I had thought of that. At least he can argue his point...I cannot have any defense. I merely have to accept what is...different about me. And yeah, I'm in Sequoyah also, I know first-hand how it is.
Unless I have a friend around who explains it for me, whenever I first talk to someone the almost the very first thing I have to do is admit my 'difference' or whatever you want to call it. First thing.
I'm not complaining though...I just think it is important for everyone to always remember that no matter how bad off you think you are, there is always someone, somewhere doing much worse.
The problem isn't what matters - it's the way that we handle it that determines who we are.
