Yesterday was thankfully pointless. We should be thankful yesterday was yesterday, and not a good day for the city to be covered in a poisonous gas cloud.

Of course, but the fact remains that it's pointless. If we'd been covered in a giant poisonous mushroom, I'd have used another adjective.

It's not an official term or anything, but it pretty much describes her state right now. It happens when someone takes in vast quantities of sugar and caffeine.
