Got an email from my father, saying that my mom went through the surgery yesterday to remove the cancerous tumor from her tongue. They removed the 2cm tumor and about 1cm of surrounding tissue. Only about a half dollar sized piece. It was not neccesary for the plastic surgeon to take a part of her bicep to replace the missing piece of her tonge

Thank you for the prayers. Well, with the next job I will be across post actually working with my unit. So in its own way, it will be more stressful just less graphic. We stay in the job position for about three months and then rotate. I will be going to work in the records section (officer and enlisted). I have only done a little officer records but have been in enlisted records pretty much my whole career. But they want us to fix the sections we know before moving us to learn new ones. So off to enlisted records for the ump-teenth time. Today I work the day shift 7am-7pm and tomorrow I work 7pm-7am and then thurs off and Friday I start the PSS site. Yeah, not. Now I will be working where they have a real slow conection and many people sharing the computer. But I will try to update and comment whenever I can.
