The fucking police officer lied, he said my present was not losing my license, well we went and paid the ticket and they notified me that I will indeed be losing it for 20 days. I hate America.

Don't automatically agree to the ticket - contest it. If the officer borked up at all (e.g. didn't get his radar gun calibrated recently enough, can't find the receipt from that calibration, doesn't show up for the hearing, etc etc) you get off free...

Next time, store some doughnuts as bait. :)

Crimony, never mind, maybe I should *read* the post first. :-/ (Paying it is considered an admission of "guilt."... sigh)

Well see, he told me if I didnt contest it I wouldnt lose my license but if I did and went to court I would risk losing it.

So I figured I would just pay the 60 bucks and not risk losing my license, if I had known I was going to lose it anyway I would have done something.

Why have I heard of so much corruption involved with police officers? Something is very wrong with that.

because Cops are corrupt motherfuckers that will take any chance to exploit others for their personal gain.

OH and they don't give tickets to girls (some do, but those are the ones that do their job)

I fucking hate cops.

dude, be happy it's only 20 days, I found out the day after christmas that mine's suspended for 6 months... 6 mother fucking MONTHS

that's the rest of the school year and 2 months of SUMMER!
