So I received a forward email from someone and it's about the boycott on the Venetian Hotel Casino.

Here's the email:

yeah.. that's pretty offensive. it's not necessary. i guess they want to say sex sells? unfortunately, it was done in poor taste.

it probably wouldn't be as offensive if they had the naked lady on a poster by herself than having it sit next to a monk.

i remember when i went to vegas, tao just opened. the bf and i stayed at the venetian and whenever i walked passed one, i told him.. "i know someone is going to get mad and offended by this"

i think it is offensive, but doesn't effect me. i just can see the marketing behind it.

i visited the venetian in march, and tao wasn't open yet. i didn't see any ads, only a big monk statue in front of its doors. so i had no idea until i got this email.

Well, it targets different kind of audience. I doubt real religious people goto clubbing anyway. Most people in Vegas goto club are looking for sex and getting some T&A.
