My grandma

Some clunkers, but on the whole a good compilation.

Sure, I'll aim generally in your direction... I'll see how I go, it may yet grow on me.

Thank you. There's nothing anyone can really do to help, let's just hope the trip goes smoothly.

Thanks sweetie. She just called to say she made it to Frankfurt, so she's almost there!

I'm sure(/I hope) she'll be okay. I also have a patchy knowledge of English/German and travel procedures, but have so far managed to get by courtesy of the kindness of strangers (and the occasional bribe). Nonetheless, relevant appendages crossed for her and your uncle.

I would say your knowledge of English is a little better than my grandma's! Nonetheless, people are helping her and she seems to be doing fine (she's in Frankfurt now).

I've flown that route so many times and there were always older people with limited knowledge of English and travel (my mum had a knack for picking them out and having conversations on transfer stops). I'm sure she'll be right. Krakow however is getting kinda cold this time of year. ;) Still...I wish I were going... Not to be creepy or anything, but that city makes me salivate a little. haha
