Now in Chicago, sitting in the lobby of the W Hotel looking out over Lake Michigan.

One of my goals while I'm here is to locate a good blues and/or jazz bar. Anything else on the must-do list for a short Chicago visit?

Get an ex-police car, a black suit & hat, go to the Palace Hotel Ballroom, then race the real police the "106 miles to Chicago with a full tank of gas, half a pack of cigarettes, in the dark, wearing sunglasses"

That would be the real Blues Brothers experience, yes, but I forgot to mention the bit about not getting arrested...

We've got to fill this hall tonight. A lot of young children are depending on it.

Cool, thanks for the tip, I'll check it out... I went to Blue Chicago downtown tonight, which had some really good musicians.

Take pictures in the blues and or jazz bar!!! Take pics in general, but definitely of musical things!

Went to Blue Chicago tonight, didn't have a camera with me, unfortunately. I may go again another night though.

I'm away about 11 days in total.
