A Personal Question:

Ask me one.

(Psyched ya out there, didn't I? Muahahaha!)

But seriously, ask me a personal question. Be as provocative as you dare. If it isn't super embarrassing, I'll answer it here. If it's more private, I may answer you in an e-mail. But whatever you ask, I'll be straightforward and honest in my answer ... scout's honor. :-)

Ooh, interesting offer! Alas, at the moment i can't think of any serious questions i'd like you to answer honestly. (And of the not-so-serious ones, i can't think of any that i wouldn't be embarrassed to ask. ;-) )

Oh, wait, here's one. Can you picture yourself falling in love with, and having a long-term romantic relationship with, someone who actively works to promote public policy diametrically opposed to your ideas of how things should be run?

Ah, interesting question.

I could fall into infatuation with such a person if other aspects of their personality impress me enough, but couldn't see myself dating them, much less falling in love. I'd actually like to have someone who could be a real partner with me, who could help me improve myself by working with me on goals we both share. That doesn't mean I have to have someone who agrees with me on everything. Having different opinions and being able to challenge each other, keep each other on our toes, is a very good thing ... but if we're completely opposed and passionately opinionated, we'd drive each other insane before we could get anything useful done.

And if the dude thinks his views have religious backing, that's an absolutely non-negotiable no go. I could never date anyone who actually bought into the whole "man is the head of the household, so women must be subservient" nonsense.
