Somewhat on a whim and somewhat at the prompting of friends, I've decided to try recording memorable scents, sights, sounds, sensations, and snacks. Whether or not there will be more than one post has yet to be determined, but here are bits of my initial effort

The idea behind the quotation has been familiar for some time, but I don't think I've ever seen it expressed better -- wish I'd come up with it. I'm glad you liked the mix of tastes in the last one. I have a very pleasant memory of eating exactly that combo in exactly the scenario described. :-)
