A little Tolkein

The Road Goes Ever On

The Road goes ever on and on
Down from the door where it began.
Now far ahead the Road has gone,
And I must follow, if I can,
Pursuing it with weary feet,
Until it joins some larger way
Where many paths and errands meet.
And whither then? I cannot say.

It's been a rough year for me, a heck of a lot more bad than good. It also is much harder when you're so very far from eveyone and everything you've ever known. I'll work my way through it though, nothing to do but build.

Oh, I'm not even thinking of moving back yet, besides everyone else has moved on, even if I tried to go back it'd be chasing a memory. I may be taking longer to get my sea legs than I thought, but sooner or later they'll be back. One thing I've always had in large supplies is hope.
