chicken, and waffles

So sunday i got up and left my apt. at 10:30 even though i went to bed at around 5. I made sure that a passed out/sleeping clinton and greg had sufficient blankets and didn't choke on their own vomit from the night before. I cleaned up the craziness from greg's birthday a bit and then did about twenty pounds of laundry at my house.

Then rusty, steve, cj, and i set out for atlanta to see bishop allen at some venue i'd never been to before. The drive there i slept most of the way and we got there around 8 or so. We met jt and his new girlfriend, who from what i saw is pretty nice and probably just as dorky as we are (in a good way).

Waiting for doors to open, rusty and i get a little paranoid that bishop allen isn't there. We don't see any brooklyn boys with cute haircuts, fitted blazers, and air force ones. We then find out from an overly enthusiastic individual we shall refer to as dudley that bishop allen actually canceled over a month ago, but the venue is pretty awesome and didn't update their website.

I think a piece of me died.

Being that we already paid $8 we stay for "we are scientists". Well, we stay for about 10 minutes. They weren't terrible, but they weren't really good either. In fact if i wasn't in such a foul mood i might have even liked them. Well, actually, now that i think about it i probably wouldn't.

We then went to some place called the city cafe, or something. I ordered really bad coffee because i was really poor while everyone else ate. To be honest, i was still glad we came even though i didn't act like it because at least i got out of columbia and broke my routine for a few brief hours. And i got to see jt, which is very rare, and hear cj make a lot of racist remarks about the patrons of the diner we were eating at.

Then we stopped at about 50 gas stations until we found one with a bathroom so i could relieve myself. We stopped at the nastiest gas station i have ever been to and i think i caught herpes or the clap from just going in.

Then i slept pretty much the entire way home, because, i don't know, that's usually what i do in car trips if i'm not driving.

In conclusion the trip was a success because i got to spend time with people i rarely see, cj and i saw a place called "chijangles" (which i'm assuming is similar to bojangles, but cooler), and i found out that jt isn't circumcised.
