Took my mom to see the Trans-Siberian Orchestra today. She rocked out in the seat next to me, no joke. Haha. I tried to remind myself not to feel at all embarrassed, because I know that's going to be me in a little over 30 years, I'm sure. We are too much alike, really. You know, know one ever knows what to say to someone when a person they love has died. I mean, it's two years later now, but I have to say, that was one of the kindest, most sensitive (and really most eloquent) things I've been told, especially from someone who doesn't even really know me. It felt really heartfelt and genuine. You seem like such a nice, caring person in general, but your compassion for someone you barely know (me) overwhelms me. Thank you.

As for the maple syrup, the bottle I have actually came from one of my Canadian friends (we play soccer together at college)!! Haha. It does not surprise me that you put it on ice cream, now that I think of it, but at the time I felt like I had discovered a wonderful new creation! Haha. Damn Canadians. Gotta think of everything first, don't they? :)

Hahahaha I think you're right! Obviously it was your lack of turkey hot dogs that led to your downfall! It's okay though, you were only 5 - how were you supposed to know the horrible fate that was to befall your taste buds as a result?
