Brexit.

If they are so convinced that this is what people want, why are they so determined not to ask again?

Too proud to stop Brexit, is all, even if they know the whole thing is a lousy idea.

It's a sad, sad business, a dark time for the European Union and a frankly ridiculous time for the UK. It's one of the most galling displays of populism I've ever seen, and you do wonder who is thinking about the good of the country.

There were a lot of anglophiles in the London march. A million and a half British people living in Europe didn't even get to vote. Some of it was a protest vote against an increasingly remote Westminster.
Lies were told. (Google Boris NHS bus). Because the referendum was only 'Advisory', little has been done about money spent telling lies which exceeded what was legally allowed. 'Greased Piglet' broke the law. Lady (Spider Brooch) Hale stopped the proroguing of Parliament but nothing further was done.
We are fighting a constitutional coup. Personally, I'd like to see Boris and his ghastly chums being rowed into the Traitor's Gate. Unfortunately, we don't do that any more.
The damage to this country has been incalculable. (Rees-Mogg made millions shorting the pound). As to the Good Friday Agreement, well I could cry.
