Ok, so it starts out with me playing a video game. There is a cluster of islands in the middle of the ocean. Each island is made up of 4 or 5 big boulders sticking up from the water. One of the islands is bigger and has a small cottage on it, and another very small island (the whole thing couldn't have been more than 10 feet in circumference) has three blue crystals rotating in the middle of it. (Sideways, like a rotisserie (sp.).) The camera angle starts out wide then goes in close and slowly pans around the island with the crystals. It's a hint as to the next part of the game. Suddenly the camera is back at a wide angle to show the island with the cottage, and behind the cottage grows a wide stone tower that reminds me of the castle Rapunzel was kept in. Also: everything is vibrating as the castle grows, like a game controller would, only expanded to everything, and suddenly, I'm not outside playing the game anymore, I'm IN the game and it's no longer a game, but a real mission. Suddenly I'm flying toward the tower and through one of the windows.
At this point I woke up enough to think "Weird." but fell right back asleep and picked up pretty much where I left off. I've just flown through the window. Now I'm in what appears to be outer space, and I'm sitting on the back of a bat. Like...the flying sonar kind, not the swinging home run kind. We are flying through space, passing planets and stars like they're nothing, and I remember thinking the bat was funny, but I don't remember what he said. Suddenly in the distance I can see a HUGE square archway. It's at least 100 feet tall with the side pillars perfectly square and straight and made of brushed steel. The top of the arch was the same luster, and was also very square, but it was framing a big blue crystal (like the ones over the Sims' heads, only bright blue). The archway itself was full of super bright, hot white light. I could see the beams coming from it, and i could feel the heat once we got close. The whole set up was sitting on a moss covered space island, identical to the one the tower was sitting on before I flew through the window, only, y'know...in space instead of in the sea. And with a random ginormous archway of light complete with blue Sim crystal instead of a cottage and a tower...ANYway...
Batty and I fly up to the top of the archway, and he sets me down. It is at this point I think "Uh...now what?" Right then a monstery guy (a "boss?") appears. I don't remember much about him except that he had an arm made out of more rocks, and the end was one of those medieval spikey ball things, but without the chain. Just rockarmspikeball. So, he turned and raised his arm like he was going to hit me, but he was REALLY SLOW. So I pulled out my sword (what, don't you always have a sword handy in YOUR dreams?) and plunged it into the blue crystal. (Conveniently enough, the steel frame had a sword sized hole right over the crystal's weak spot...) At this point I hear Batty holler something, and I turn to see he's turned into a moth. He's smaller now, about the size of my fist, but he can still fly, and he's all I've got. The archway is beginning to shake and rumble, and my feet are dangling dangerously close to the heat of the white light, I remember feeling like they were burning in my dream. (That may have had something to do with the fact the IRL I was wearing socks, and when I woke up my feet were really too warm for my comfort...I dunno.) So I grab Batty's (Mothy's?) legs and he takes off like a bat...sorry. Bug out of Hell, and all I can do is hope his little wings can go fast enough to get us clear of the imminent explosion. I hear the arch start to crumble behind me, and right as I turn to watch, I wake up again.
Again, I'm only awake long enough to think "Hot feet." before I fall back asleep and am in the middle of the next phase of the game that is already in progress.
(::is tired:: To be continued.)
