nice job photographing these. You kept the values at a nice soft rich tone. You should consider doing just lego photography of abstract patterns. I'm imagining you filling up the entire frame with lego pieces, but they are very structured. So structured that it gives the viewer lots of interest to explore around.
Remember Joanna's paintings at IWU? How she played with the formal qualities of making things look flat, yet also 3D? Imagine doing that with photographing Lego sculptures.

Thanks, artdude75. I considered clipping out the sculptures and bumping up the contrast, but the nice, subtle grays throughout the photo help hint at the idea that these LEGO sculptures represent clouds.
When I first constructed these LEGO cloud sculptures about a year ago, I played around with doing some abstract photography of LEGO constructions. It's a great workout for the brain. Photography courses in art school should have an assignment where they build LEGO sculptures and photograph them. It helps in learning about the properties of light.
